Have been billed through our phone courier for the cost of a call that we do not know about and it seems that the phone courier cannot or will not do anything about it even it's been billed by them.

well, well, well.Today I opened phone bill from Telus (BC) for a company I am looking after and noticed ALTERNATE SERVICE BILLING - $49.95.what it said on page 7/8 under ALTERNATE SERVICE BILLING was:alternate Service Provider Long Distance CallingInformationtelcharge.com Inc.Date and time of call           place you called               number you called    Length of call   Amount                                                                                                               (minutes)        you payPerson to person collect call   604-869-XXXX - (I blocked company's phone number)14 Wed May 23 02:41 pm   fr HOPE BC                     (514) 764-3921                 1                $49.95  I had same charge, different day, on previous bill.I called Telus and got talking to James.  Very nice man, was aware of this scam.  HE said recently they had quite few calls.James provided me phone number 1-+1 800-345-3444 - BUT that is only recorded message and gets you nowhere.I tried phone number Bryan Baker provided - few posts up >> his number works.  I got to talk to woman named Maggi and after I explained to her what is going on she gave me another phone number to call: 1-+1 855-248-1106.Lady named Rusty agent number 201103 was the agent who handled this call.After explaining the situation she told me that Tony agreed to be represented by company HELLO ONLINE PAGES  and billed for services "Provided".  I asked her to fax me the contract Tony enter into and for what services. She said it was "verbal contract".I told her that I highly doubt that, for Tony even thou is the owner of the company he does not have the capacity to make these decisions or contract for advertisement.  That is my job, and I know I did not contract with anybody.  I told her I wish to close this account and have the money refunded to us.  Rusty told me, since the already provided services they will keep the money.I told her, you will not, until I see contract we have between us.  I said to her:" I received another scam in mail the other day from CanadianRegistry.ca.  This company did call Tony and offered him advertisement and he instructed them to fax him some information so he can decide whether he is interested or not.  Instead of that they send him a bill for $591.34 for 1 BC Provincial Registry CD-ROM                     $ 100.001 Listing in the BC Provicnial Registry                $ 399.00S$H                                                                $   28.98GST                                                                $   63.36TOTAL                                                             $ 591.34I said to Rusty - this is another case of somebody dreaming up a bill and sending it to me, to see if I will bite.  I refused the package and notified post office of this scam and told them to mail it back.So Rusty, unless you are willing to provide me with a genuine copy of our contract and send me a proper bill I consider this a scam. That is what your company did.  You dreamed up a bill/charge and attached it to a different company hoping it will go unnoticed and paid.Rusty gave me cancellation number and asked for our bank account number to deposit the amount.I told her the check will be mailed to our mailing address.  Giving them account number could tempt them to charge directly my account number and I would have to be on guard for ever looking what scam they are trying to pull.  Rusty said that check of $99.90 will be mailed within 4-6 weeks to us.And as I typing this - I realized I did not even pay the second $49.95 charge.However, I just want you all who will make it to this site, know that this is a genuine scam, and if you insist on seeing contract, they will get your money back.  So they say.  I will see in 4-6 weeks. (514) 764-3921 is the marketing division of  "Hello Pages "  who scam you into advertising on their web site.  The scam consists of them saying " Hello Pages " which sounds like YELLOW Pages .

Same thing happened to me got the same Resty Girl with her number 201103.Tried to say that the account was approved by our previous owner who has not been with the company for 7 years!  She said that the contract is cancelled and that their financial manager will be in contact within the next 2 business day! we will see! in the meantime telus is refunding me the full charges and they are investigating this company for a scam and fraudulent charges. but as it went through for two months now I have to call again next month to get this months charges refunded.
