The same story. They call and ask for me by first and last name. (I don’t give my cell to anyone except bank) So I was very upset and ask them how they get my number ... certainly no help from them ....
Really need to know who sold my personal info.

Is there any way I can order them to give me the information where they get my personal info? I am very concern about it, maybe they have much more ....

also any questioners must be anonymous but this callers already know you name and other info,  and any question you answer they attach to you personal profile..... very very concern!!!!

Regulations have changed, these survey companies can call til 10PM on certain projects.

The fact that you think people will inform themselves about how to handle these types of calls or the companies behind these calls, shows that you have no idea about the people you're trying to survey. People are lazy and have better things to do with their time then research how to get around the inner workings of survey or telemarketing calls, scams or not. I'm sure it sucks having people constantly gripe at you over the phone for calling them, but sorry, if that wasn't in your job description when you applied for the job, they lied to you. That or you need to get some common sense that doing those annoying calls will lead to some unpleasantness. Everyone has to deal with crappy "customers" at some point, so stop whining. And telling people to "grow some balls" doesn't really change society's perspective on the type of people behind these phone calls. Plus, we're Canadian, we're trying to tell you that we don't want your calls without being the a***oles you're complaining about in the first place. You can't have it one way or the other.

Call from (514) 288-0420 claiming to be doing a survey on smoking on behalf of Health Canada.  So far so good, but they called at 9:55 PM (!!!!).  WTF is that all about?
