I didn't answer the call, but has since seen A LOT of people complaining about this number (514) 200-9898). This is a Montreal, Quebec number.Apparently it is a Spanish speaking recording. Which is fishy, since the number is listed in Canada - which only has two official languages, neither of which is Spanish. So why is there a Spanish recording? None of the Canadian mobile phone carriers have recordings in Spanish. Can you say scam of some sort?

Man lets all catch this trick, I experienced the dumb call today 01/03/08 at 2:15 pm EST.I do know that it is happening to all those who have a motorola phone usually a Razor of some type. This could be some form of threat to citizens of the U.S. by someone. It is a travesity that people are not making their service carriers do something about this. Was there not a report last year about terrorist being able to make several cell phones explode at once on the national news last year? We all need to call our service carriers and make them hunt this person down, after all they are calling from a phone as well. This is crazy!!!

I don't think this is cause for red alert; all though very creepy...I am from Montreal and my husband and i got the calls 1 minute apart...I am with Rogers and he is with Telus...His phone is not even registered under his name...Rogers says they are looking into it, but still do not know the source...If you want to get really creeped out go see all the complaints on 800notes.com!!!
