Got this call a a hard to understand man asked to speek to a owner -I said I was as close as he was going to get. He  said I must speak to a manager or owner I said I was WAS all he was going to get !!! AND HE HUNG UP!!!

got the same call from the same guy! i hung up and turn on my fax! he called back 5 more times only yo listen to those annoying fax tones.... he got the idea! lol

A man said he wanted to update my Yellowpages listing. I figure someone has to pay the phone bill and I hope they pay by the minute. I just lay the phone down untill it disconnects.

SCAMMERS/SLAMMERS/PFISHING......won't stop calling my business!  First a woman (who was hard to understand) then a rude man with an accent, asking to verify business info for my "online yellow page" listing but for one of my unlisted secondary phone lines which I have NEVER advertised nor wanted to advertise.  They insist on giving us some kind of confirmation number (which we tell them we don't want and we hang up). They call right back even after we hang up on them!  He would only identify his company as " online yellow pages".....(.yeah!right!... )  and they argue with us when we tell them NOT to call us anymore.  He claims that my number IS listed already in the white pages but he is full of sh_t!  Oh, and there was mention of a $49 a month fee.

This person is ridiculous. They call my business 3-4 times a day even after being told to stop. I have reported them to soooo many different agencies with no relief. He is VERY RUDE and does not speak English very well either. I have gone to extremes with this guy. I have asked him nicely to stop, I have made threats of turning the number in, and I have cussed him like a dog and he STILL calls back. I run a business and can not just answer the phone. He says he wants to update info on the company, but doesn't even have a clue to the correct info on the company. This time he said it was established in 1971, HAHA I was 6 years old then. Oh, and also my business was in New York City, when I am in North Carolina. This crap just needs to stop!

I too get the same hard to understand Indian that will not take no for an answer.  I have hung up on him numerous times only to have him call right back.  Phone says "New Brunswick".  Don't waste your time with these people.
