Its not the police force... its the Police Force Association (or union)... they are not your local police department.They are asking for donations, but unfortunately they are not a registered charity and will not issue receipts for tax purposes.  I made the mistake of donating once to them, and now they hound me at least twice a month looking for more $$$ for various "causes".If you do answer...  ask if they will provide you with a tax receipt....

Received a call from this # (506) 472-1977 this evening. Since I live in the area, I decided to call back,  but only got an answering service,  which didn't identify itself,  but stated I could leave a name, number and a message stating my business.
