I got a call, answered and no one answered back. Thought these kind'a calls were on the no call list. If not, they should be. If so I'll report them.

Received phone call from (506) 228-4569 today.  Caller ID displayed the name Hector Theriault.  The message on the machine was a woman's somewhat computerized voice telling me that they were calling regarding an offer to extend the warranty on my car and this is the last time they would be calling.

I've gotten identical calls at work on two different employees' phone lines.

Received a call on Mar 13 2009.  Phone number registered to Hector Theriault -one in Eel River Bar First Nation, New Brunswick - the other in Baie Sainte Anne, New Brunswick.  Strange thing is I have family in New Brunwick and ME w/same last name. When I returned the call to see if there was a link less than 2 hours from the caller ID recorded time, the phone number was DISCONNECTED. I have no bills to collect. Why do others think this caller is a debt collector?  Is this a temporary call-forward service that's active for a while, then when the work is done goes inactive/disconnected?
