My land line was called by this 226-4563 a couple of times today and I did NOT ANSWER.

I googled the number and now I am here.

These days I do not answer any of my phones UNLESS I recognize the number/caller id.

Electronic related fraud is huge and will continue to grow.

None of us can stop it. But we can be smart and not get involved...

Start by not answering calls unless you know who it is.

I got a call with a recording saying that "this is your final notice" to lower my credit card interest, press 1 to talk to an agent. Then the agent comes online and asks me for my tel number and first name. Then  he asks me for my credit card debt info and how many card do I have.

Credit Scam Call. Just click the 1 and curse out the canadian bastard, and make fun of his mother

I just received a call from (506) 226-4563. It staited my auto insurance will expire and to press #1. I knew this was a scam so I pressed 1. While on hold (being transfered), I called the number from my cell phone and it was a non working mobile number. The rep gon on the phone and asked me my vehicle info. I asked his name, he said Harry. I asked Harry Wast and after a delay said Frank. I said i would like to discuss this with him further and asked him for his call back. He gave me 1-+1 800-244-3425. DO NOT CALL THIS NUMBER as is started off as a sex line. Now Im pissed.. I know it was a scan and will be using my phone company resources to catch this boiler room operation!!I hope to report back to this board any success. I too have registerd personal number for call registry and have "blocked caller ID" blocked. They are using VOIP and masked their number to a fake non working number.To the boiler room operation if your reading this... Im on to you.Im sick of these repeat, later evening calls.

We get the same thing.  When I talked to a rep, he said the company name is "Account Services".  pretty generic, huh?  I tried to tell him that I was interested in signing up but wanted to look at their website first.  He kept telling me I'd have to be prequalified and then I'd get the info.  I said I don't release my credit card info without first knowing something about the company.  He kept referring back to being prequalified first.  I finally told him to either give me some info or hang up.  He hung up.
