Received call from this number Feb 20, 2015 @ 1310. I let the call go to voice mail and they just hung up.. as I do with any number I do not recognize. Call came into Charlottetown, PE

Got call from this number a few minutes ago... I said hello several times and then it disconnected.When I tried calling back, it went to a prerecorded message (supposedly from Bell Canada).  The message  in both French and English message claims that the customer has asked for the service to be temporarily disconnected so I suspect that this is either a fake message or they have redirected inbound calls to a number which really is disconnected.If they call back, I will string them a long to try to find out a bit more about them before I scream in their ear!

I received a call from (450) 226-6109 on 19 Feb at 4:59pm. Attempts to collect personal/financical information CC rate reduction scam.

2nd call in 2 days.  Saying can lower your credit card rate to 6.9%.  This time I pressed 1 to hear what they had to say.  Person on the line cannot speak very good English, and the phone line keeps blanking out as if calling through VOIP headset.  Refused to answer me about what Credit card company, and what number was he calling from.  I have now reported them to my CC companies.  Please DO NOT give this guy any info.!Caller: No Name giving only to save me 6.9%NOTE:  Others getting these calls - You are given Option 1 or 2 - if you select 2 - says not an option and you still get someone.  They will not provide name or anything on the phone and try to get you to give them info.  I told the guy I was contacting my credit card companies.  BTW I am on the DNC list as well.  They are breaking Canadian LAW!  Plus if you report to the AntiFraud line here in Ontario you get absolutely NO help!

These scammers also use the number (647) 898-8827. The same man will always answer with the foreign accent. Yesterday he called and I hit 1 to talk...as soon as he came online to talk I blew a whistle very loudly in his ear and hung up. I urge everyone to get the loudest whistle and blow it as hard as you can. Maybe even get one of those air cans they use on golf courses...that will hurt there ears. Have no pity on these scumbags. They will steel your eyes and come back later for the sockets.
