You might want to look into call blocking device. There are a number of models available. Do some reasearch to find the one that fits your needs. I just got one today!

Phoned and left a message about some collection agencies calling him thinking that they are calling us.  We don't owe anyone anything and our bills are always paid on time so I wondered what the scam was.  Then he gave us a number to call for an organization that deals with collection agencies.  It had scam written all over it.  The number will normally have your phone's prefix, followed by 800.  You are told to go to a website called wwwhowtostopcollectioncalls and once you get through you enter 911.  I didn't do any of the above because I knew it was either a scam or a computer viris.  I am just sending this out to make people aware.

Same call 3 days in a row from "Peter Banks" saying a collection agency gave him my phone number because it gets a lot of collection calls ??huh?? Not in the 8 years I've had the phone number! Some idiots trying to pull some scam. Added to my blocked callers list on my phone.

I have received call on Oct 4/14 from (437) 800-0165 and man named Peter Banks told that he got from somebody my number to call me re-harassing calls from debtors.I did not tell anyone if I have collection calls or not, so it is just a scam in order to get your personal information like phone, name all creditors and any credit cards if you have.
