You might want to look into call blocking device. There are a number of models available. Do some reasearch to find the one that fits your needs. In the meantime, you should reort the calls to the following. https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov/#&panel1-1https://esupport.fcc.gov/ccmsforms/form1088.actionhttps://complaints.donotcall.gov/complaint/complaintcheck.aspx?panel=2For individual states:http://www.donotcallprotection.com/do_not_call_chart.shtmlFCC Abandoned Calls Complaint form:http://www.fcc.gov/cgb/consumerfacts/1088D-R.pdfemail:  fccinfo @ fcc.gov

Phoned and left a message about some collection agencies calling him thinking that they are calling us.  We don't owe anyone anything and our bills are always paid on time so I wondered what the scam was.  Then he gave us a number to call for an organization that deals with collection agencies.  It had scam written all over it.  The number will normally have your phone's prefix, followed by 800.  You are told to go to a website called wwwhowtostopcollectioncalls and once you get through you enter 911.  I didn't do any of the above because I knew it was either a scam or a computer viris.  I am just sending this out to make people aware.

A call from this # (437) 800-0165 was a recorded message about collection agencies contacting this fellow concerning repeatedly calling our phone number. Strange and convoluted....we put this# on our call block list.  It is getting to the point where if we don't recognize the # calling we don't bother to answer.
