Just got a call but complete silence and hung up

The following is an hypothesis:

If you received a call from (416) 907-0582,
an talked without hearing any voice (hello would suffice), then you will likely to receive another call in the next 15 minutes from a local phone number with a further marketing call this time an actual person talks to you.

I wonder if one don't talk without hearing any voice, would the number (416) 907-0582) keep calling?

Yes the indian man told me he is life insurance i told him no thanxs.then ask me about my husband then changehis # i was going to call the cops on him.

Called today at 5:07pm, didnt answer, i dont know anybody from toronto with that number

Bell Canada offering a free Samsung Link cell phone with a $25 plan - Likely from an overseas call centre - The guy didn't know what I meant when I asked what time "evenings" started at . Very pushy.

Indian accent claiming to be calling from BELL CANADA, number comes up unavailable name. if you call the number back it talks about the subscribers mail box is full. I asked to speak to his supervisor, he put me on hold, then came back and gave me a different name saying he was the supervisor. when i called him on it he hung up.

I answer phone and there is nobody on the other end again!

called 11:00 pm on a Friday night. what a pain......no feed back just dead silence..but this is the third call, same number ...we should ask bell to keep our phone number private, we should NOT have to pay for this..Bell is contributing to the act of harassment.
