Received twice about one hour apart

GT Group Telecom is the owner of this number, AKA Bell.

ive been getting calls from this phone every single day for the past week. Everytime someone is home alone, or just got home. i dont know if it's just coincidence?

Bell claims it's a telemarketer and will not release any information.They told me to do the following:Pay $5 to block the number, but that's no guarantee because they may have many other numbers and start calling from another one...Pay $5 per call to dial *57 and trace the call back to the police, that could later be used in a court case, if I could figure out who they were.Bell will not release any information on who they've sold the number to, no matter what.

caller poses as a Rogers home phone agent offering a special promotion.Main purpose is to obtain I.D. with aphasis on Citizenship # etc.

We should contact CRTC and have them do an investigation into this # and have people post the status of the investigation on this site. If enough people call they will have to act upon the request's.
