Determine that Call Trace is not a viable option.  Police say that call trace info requires a warrant.  Warrants are only granted if there's criminal activity and telemarketing is not criminal activity.  

I logged a complaint with the CRTC yesterday, and am waiting to see if they respond.  ( You can complain too...  The form is at http://www.crtc.gc.ca/RapidsCCM/Register.asp?lang=E )

They called me again, and I actually DID get a voice this time.  I told them to stop calling.  Here's hoping it works because I've damn well had enough.

same stuff, has anyone been successful in getting the calls to stop?

This person called me from bell Canada asking me if i`m with bell for m internet and telephone. Then I answered that i`m not and that i do not need it and hung up. After that the person called me again and started swearing in english, then in punjabi. I hung up again and warned the person that i will call the police if this doesnt stop, but the person did not seem to understand that and called for the third time swearing again.the number was (416) 907-0553

yeah thats what exactly happened to me today which is a real pissoffff

I received several calls by someone that called himself John, very persistant and very rude, saying he was from some phone company, he wanted to get personal information such as credit cards and sin numbers from anyone so he would give some kind of a deal, I did not give him any information so hegot upset, I find this type of calls very suspicious, how can I verify if this is authentic.

2 days in a row at 4:00 pm. no message. the service provider is GT Group Telecom Services Corp.
