Mine was a silent call, then hung up.  Next day, same number and "this is the promotional department of Rogers Cable".  I then hung up.I guess they call the first time to see if you're a 'live' number.

I have recieved the same calls up to 3 times a day and it is very frustrating.  I am bringing this to the next level and hope that you all will do the same.  The CRTC has a website with a complaint/inquiry section http://www.crtc.gc.ca/eng/welcome.htmI filled out a complaint about the number.  The CRTC has regulated that when you cannot contact the company on your own to be put on the do not solicit list that your phone company is mandated to do so on your behalf.  I spent about an hour on the phone with Rogers who informed me that they have no such process in place.  Afterwards I wrote to the CRTC explaining the calls, referencing this website, and then describing how frustrating it is to recieve these calls and not be able to do anything about it.  Please join the cause and write to the CRTC at the above link to help get this issue solved.  There are rules protecting us... just no one to enforce the rules.  The CRTC will have to step up to the plate if they recieve enough mail about it. It only takes a minute or two to write a quick email so please help to be part of the solution.  Thanks,

almost 2 weeks ?in a row  no message, and silence.I did call them back and call cannot be completed as diled. I am so tired of it.

I keep getting call's from this number over and over again, One time they called 3 times in A row, They never leave I message and I can't call that number back.

MY parents got a call from this number stating that by law they are doing internal checks in everyone's home. They said it is the law and they have to let them in to check tonight at 8 pm. Creeps!  
People watch out for your elderly family members!
