Guy on the other end wanted to sell me Gold futures or something. Conversation went as follows:
Him: Hi my name is x (i don't remember) and i am calling from Gold standard forex (or something)
ME: Do i know you???
Him: Well we spoke briefly a year back or so.
ME: Oh, well I'm not interested
Him: Well, have you been following the trends...
ME: Sorry, I am not interested right now. Thanks.
Him: GO STAY IGNORANT YOU LITTLE F--K!!!

And he hung up. I tried calling back, but the operator said it was disconnected or something. Pretty upsetting. I was quite polite.

Just received a call from (416) 861-9381. From Bell.....Anyway, hung up and called Bell Canada.
After much button pushing got to an operator who, upon hearing about the problem, transferred me to ANOTHER number who told me to call ANOTHER number who told me to call +1 866-580-3625 which is the NATIONAL DO NOT CALL number, which I'm already on.

So, I called the "0" number and finally got someone to talk to. Explained that the call from 416-861-9381 was, it appeared to be, a scam call. SHE said it could be legitimate. Yes...LEGITIMATE. When I told her about this site and the number of different outfits that were supposedly using this number she said it was "probably" a research company. WTF.  

In other words..."Don'y bother me".......Bell Canada and it's customer service......

By the way, I called the 416-861-9381 and it's been disconnected......

Annoyed07, you sent some guy in China $1000 to win a prize? That's about the dumbest things I've ever heard anyone do!

What was the prize a Million Dollars? And the $1000 was to pay the tax… right? Why do people fall for s**t like this?

I tested this out. Apparently this # (416) 861-9381 if from people calling via Skpe online. So it could be anyone who calls in using Skpe and indicating through Skpe that they are calling from Canada.

just got a call today September 11th, 2012.  They called and someone was breathing very heavily.  i was saying hello, hello... no answer. i hung up and called back with my number blocked and the call was disconnected before i even heard a ring.  i called again using my number without blocking it and the same thing happened.  i guess they have blocked incoming calls.  Whoever is doing this, is a low life, with lots of time on their hands, and up to no good...

I've had this number calling me several times a day for months.

It's now 4:30am and I am writing this after being woken up by it.

I received a message that I missed a call from this number.

Shortly before that I tried calling my own phone through Skype (as a test)  The first call didn't came through, and I suspect that's why I received this message with this number just a couple of minutes later.
