Scam letter and bogus check from Canada. ?Heading on the letter is: Standard Trust, Sun Tower, 1550 Bedford Hightway, Suite 410 Nova Scotia B4A 1E6. On the bugus check, in the amount of $4920.00, is printed Brookshire Brothers, Inc. P.O. Box 1688 Lufkin, TX 75902. This is a grocery store and pharmacy. How stupid these scammers are. Also on the check is LaSalle Bank N.A. Chicago, IL 60661. This bank has been closed as it was bought by Bank of America, April 2008. How stupid these scammers are. They use the name WALMART to try to legitimize the letter. Letters wants you to call either CAROL or RON at (416) 835-4602. Beware.
