I called somewhere and my number showed up as (416) 712-0000, what gives???

two calls today - both legitimate questions to the customer service center I work at, but both showing this number on the call display.

I received a call this morning to my place of work, answered the phone with the usual greeting that I do at work. The person on the other end just said  ... "Oh My God" .... I then said hello, hello, and received no other response, they were still on the phone but would not answer me!!

Microsoft Customer service does not call out. It is abridging scheme for your information if they say they are calling from Microsoft and they are looking to verify your accounts....

Called at 2:28pm from Ontario Canada, went to voice mail. Dead air for 5 sec.

this is an old lady callin for nothing or just to make other person frustrated with her stupid questions.....

Claimed to be merchant needing merchant services and a wireless debit machine. He quoted that he got cheaper rate from moneris at $55. 00 per month as rental. Gave phone # as (705) 309-3922
