Caller: cbv collections

They've been calling me over and over for last 2 year.s.

It is CBV Collections ....A Fraudulent "Boiler Room"
an Operation which harasses people over the phone .

They extort money while pretending to be legitimate
business and having legitimate claims.

They frequently change phone numbers
(a fraudulent activity on its own) so you cannot simply
block their number.

They operate from Markham and from
British Columbia...Purely Criminal activity.....relying
on extortion from those gullible enough to pay the
money.....

I think the best way to deal with them is to call them
over and over with obscenities and demand to remove
your phone number from they calling list.. They try to
fish for personal information about you. Never give
them your name.or anything else....
The number to remove from their calling list they
can see on their display.

And the phone number they can get from their display
so they have it anyway. Never give them your name.
or anything else....

Flooding them with the calls actually prevents them
from working... They cannot do anything legally

if you use obscenities.....Call them every few seconds
until they remove your number from their calling
list.

Try to enjoy this kind of reverse harassment....it is
truly healing for the psyche after 10th call.....

Most of the women in cbv call centre are aged
worn off pro**itutes agreeing to work for half
of minimum wage out of desperation.
The owner is their pimp.

They are used to all sorts of name calling so be creative
with the language you use...

And then It is truly fun when you hear them more
and more frustrated. and stressed out.
This is the best way to bankrupt this fraudulent
operation.

It would be very useful be to post online the details
of the owner and the callers for everybody to see
Perhaps some more frustrated ppl would act on
those.

The other is bringing complaint to police..If enough
complaints will be brought the police will take a look
on them and file criminal charges against those MOFO's.

Recently they are calling to get me to pay a Fido bill they say is $1,800. Hell f*cking no, I'm not paying any phone company this and especially from a bad deal made in 2015. Block.

(416) 673-1299 some scam debt collectors from what I am reading, I don't owe anyone any debt this is a scam, blocked.

Caller: Call say Cbd collections with Telus

Claiming I have a unpaid telus bill which is over 10 yrs ago. I told them that was paid in full before disconnecting with them operator was rude and didnt listen to what I was saying.I block all their numbers and still continue to call. They should be reported.

These people are relentless and need to be taken down! They call continuously from different numbers, I completely ignore them and block their numbers. I highly advise not to answer them at all.

I called back and a lady Claimed to be from Rogers saying I owe money. Told her I wasn’t paying anything she got rude and hung up. Called back again and told them I’m not sure who they are looking for but to stop calling.

Been calling me non-stop for years. Block on number, they call me from another, telling me I have a bad debt. I know I do not. Originally it was regarding a student loan that I paid off years ago, another saying it was a phone bill from 1997.....I contacted my phone company and my student loan provider and neither had any idea what was going on because both were paid in full back, oh about 10 years or more ago.

call them back 15 times in 20 minutes and see what they say

They call from 10 different ghost lines. And have amped up their staff during Covid. If they are calling your cell phone. Just block them.

Easiest way for them to stop calling is verify your name but give them a wrong birthday. I did that and they stopped calling.

They keep calling. Never leave a voicemail. Based on everything I have read here they should be investigated.

Claimed to be from Roger's, never had an account with them.

Calling over and over daily asking for debt money and trying to make it seem legitimate. Becoming harassing at this point !

This number, and similar ones, go through stages where they will call 8 to 12 times a day, and then go to once or twice after a couple of weeks.

Within one three month period they called over 1,000 times.

I finally lost my temper, picked up the phone and told them to stop harassing me. The calls stopped for about 2 weeks, then, well, I am called at least twice a day.
