Just received a call from "F Source International".  Found this site before he even finished spelling the name for me at my insistence.  Thanks everyone for posting comments.  The number they called from was 905-158-1512.  The liar on the other end told me that he got my name and address from a ballot that I filled in.  I NEVER fill in those ballots.  They are just used to gather personal info for telemarketers and as justification for calling you even if you are on the "do not call" list.  The interesting thing is, he read the address as "Streetsville", which is a name that I would never use, so there is no doubt that it didn't come from me.If you really want to stop these guys, just try to keep them on the line for as long as you possibly can.  Ideally, get rid of the on-commission moron and go right to the manager.  He's the guy that actually gets minimum wage (maybe more if he's good), so waste some of his time.  Every second that you keep them on the phone is one second that they aren't making money bilking some other poor soul out of their money.  Ask lots of questions...shoot the breeze...tell them something that happened today that they just have to hear before you go on...ask them to repeat long sentences 3 times at least...ask them to wait while you get a glass of water so you can concentrate...angrily tell imaginary family members to stop making so much noise cause you can't hear this important information...tell them that you are hard of hearing and need them to speak really loud...ask them to explain the meaning of a few simple words.  Be creative.  It's a great game and a real public service.  Just don't give any information at all and don't even think of going down there.

Got the same call and the guy "joe' told me that I won 1/5 prizes from filling out a ballot at Walmart. So I pursued it and was, like everyone else, transferred to Mark, his manager, and made the appointment to go to Drew Rd (mississauga, ON) to claim my prize...that was yesterday and we didn't go. So, I got another phone call tonight asking why I didn't show up... I told him something came up and persisted that we could attend tonights presentation... we "accidentally" missed this one too....lol...

I also asked him to send me an email confirmation of what they were telling me... Below is what was sent:

So, needless to say, I really like my identity and I'm not interested in someone taking it...Hope that others will see this and adhere to this site... I wonder what would happen if I was under the age of 27...would they be so persistent to want to give away all those prizes????

Not Easily Fooled

I just received the same phone call from #(905) 241-1053!  I did however fill out some ballots during December, but I could not remember what they were for.  When they called they asked for Mr. or Mrs.  When I said this was Mrs. they said I was one of five finalists, blah, blah, blah.  I asked if my husband could pick up the prize (he is much bigger then me and a little bit scarey!) they said no you won the prize.  Well why did you ask for Mr. or Mrs. - if Mr. answered the phone would he have been the winner???  No you won the prize and he can't claim it.  Then why are you asking for Mr. or Mrs. when you called. My first thought was, why do you want me to leave my house at a certain time???  Hmmmmmm.  Second thought, why do you want me (a woman) to come claim the prize?  Hmmmmmm.Third thought, people actually get paid to waste my time!!!!  Hmmmmmm. Thanks to all who posted the same thing!

I started getting the calls about 3 weeks ago and since then I get called once a week. Now the number and name is "blocked" Today they told me I filled out a ballot at Wal-Mart! You'd think these legit retailers would be clamouring to get these guys strung up. I mean, how likely am I ever to enter a contest of any kind again???? Anyways, when I hung up, the guy called back and I hung up again. So the next time, I plan on using my whistle on them as that is what one used to be told to do decades ago for harassing callers and obscene callers.

I have been receiving calls on this SCAM for 2 years now. I receive a call about once per month.  They have gone through 3 company names and various phone numbers BUT the call is always the same.  They have your name, address & phone number.  They insist that you have filled in a ballot at (name any major store - it keeps changing, today they asked if I remembered shopping at a grocery store in December 2009!!) They mention 5 prizes and the need to show up in person to "claim" them.  You then have to wait for a supervisor to give you a reference/claim number and the exact time & date to show up at Drew Rd (used to be a Woodbridge address).  *Someone did go to the Woodbridge locations and reported back that he & his wife spent 3 hours, listening to a timeshare presentation and being heavily pressured to buy one immediately.
