Most hospitals don't display their name and won't leave a message unless instructed to do so because they don't know if anyone else in the home knows if the hospital is to call, has the person seen a doctor and why....it maintains confidentiality.
No hospital is going to be calling you late at night and wake you unless you have a relative in the ER, for example.
Did you ever stop to consider it could be patient who is calling?

got this call today and Googled turned out to be St. Joseph Hospital and was calling to confirm an appointment

This phone number was on my call display as (416) 530-0630
and not listed as St. Joseph's Hospital, although they
have been incessantly calling me for weeks now.  The big
problem with this latest call is that it was 3:15 am this
morning, I have a sleep disorder and I was not amused since
I never got back to sleep.

I have  had a message from this phone number  for  one week,I have never answered them because I am sure it is a scam call .
