After 4 hellos, he finally came on, gregarious, asked for the person whose name our phone is listed under. I asked if he would leave a message, he said, sure tell * I've got his file... then we were disconnected.Another site lists the owner of (416) 462-1247 as N Lyall of Toronto.If it happens again, maybe I'll say yes, that's me, and find out what this guy's scam is. Then report it to CRTC website.

Caller id and phone number are the same. When I answered, it is just dead air on the other end. Very annoying!

A rude man keeps calling and asking for my dad by name.  When we ask to take a message he gets rude and hangs up.  I tried to call the number back and it is out of service.
