It is a Canadian (Toronto) area code.

I think that its some sort of automated machine number put out through Fido Toronto. I called paypal to ask a question and the automated machine said that I was calling from (416) 418-0525 which was not the case as my iPhone is a 647 #. So, just thought Id help. Also I wanted to know why they said that as Id never heard of this number in  my life.

Wierd.  Got a call on my office phone extension and a voice mail message was left.  When I listened to it, it sounded like someone driving in their car but there was nothing spoken.  When I called back, I got a recorded message saying the number was not assigned.

Just got a call from this number. Said he is from pivotal and want to apply for a job

Fraud....Don't call it back!! Protect your credit and go to a company in your area that has a good rating through the BBB. Remember that going to a Broker can hurt your credit as they submit to multiple banks to get you the best rate, which means your credit can be pulled 10 times in 1 day. Happened to me, and I will never use a broker ever again. Good Luck!
