My girlfriend in the US got a call from this number and there was hip hop music when she answered. The caller ID said Dry Loop by the way, weird

Called my cell number and I picked up because I was expecting a call from the garage door company I just ordered my new garage door from.  The guy (with a spanish or indian accent) told me he was from Windows and that I had a virus and I need to turn on my computer if it is not and he'll help me.  And I said to him "I don't know what you're talking about.  I have a laptop which is a Mac and don't have Windows." And he kept on saying that I needed to do this - I don't think he understood English very well either. So, finally he understood that I didn't have Windows and that my computer was at home so I couldn't turn it on, even if I wanted to. He then asked me several times what operating system I was using and I told him several times what operating system I was using.  He asked me my name and age.  I then told him I needed to get back to work and I didn't think he was from Windows. He said "can I ask you this? Will you be my friend?" WTF?!?!?  I was trying to be nice and everything, and I said "no, because I don't know you." He kept persisting and asked if he could call me at a later time. I FINALLY got off the phone with them.  My co-workers laughed their a***s off. DO NOT answer if this number calls you........they're scammers of some sort.

Got a phone call to my cell today from number (416) 364-1115, they said I won 9,000.00.I told them to stick it where the moon don't shine.

Called me three times today.  Finally answered on the 3rd call to find out who it was and a guy with an accent asked for me by name, which he mispronounced badly.  I asked who he was and he said "Eric with your pharmacy".  I told him he had the wrong number and to take my phone number off their list and he just hung up on me.Now I'm wondering how they got my information!

They called and told me that I had accepted a trial offer for my company to be listed in the yellow pages. ?they claimed to have tried to contact me for renewal several times but failed so now I owe them somewhere around $900.  I couldn't really understand the person's thick indian accent on the phone.
