Same kind of call I got so many times from this number. They are pretending to be from Bank of Montreal and they are misusing the name of this bank and want to collect personal information like Date of Birth and Address.

Solution for these Collection Agency: File a complaint on www.recol.ca or call phonebusters on 1 +1 888-495-8501 (Reporting Economic Crime Online). And file a complaint with Ministry of Govt. Services in Ontario for misusing the name of a bank which is illegal. Ministry of Government Services number is 1 +1 800-889-9768

They are rude, just answer the phone or they will keep calling back. Then say they have the wrong number. Not like that will help, they will call back again but many months later. I try blocking there number but does not work. I am sure is only a display phone number but not the calling number.

Some woman called this morning very early and asked for some random person with the same last name as this household.
I told her that no one is here by that name . Then she sternly asks if this is "*** **** which is my phone
number and I told her yes but no one is here by that name. I then ask her who is calling and she said
that her name is "Broadwin" and then mumbles "I must have the wrong number" and hangs up abruptly.
There was no mention about a bank or collection agency.. Who is this rude lady and what does she
want????  She seems to have an accent, I am guessing British. On my caller ID it says that her number is (416) 238-8957

Some lady named Miss Matherson called looking for someone with similar last name - refused to identify herself and when questioned more, she hung up.  Extremely ignorant!  Don't these people know that no-one gives out information over the phone anymore for reasons of identity theft and restrictions under the Privacy Act!!!!Hope she gets ear rot !!
