Received a call from this # this morning. No Caller Id was on the display only the number. When I answered the women on the line asked if she was talking to "and she referenced the name on a bank account". I asked who she was and why she was calling she said she was doing a survey for the RBC. Told her never to call again and hung up. Contacted RBC to report and they indicated that there should be no survey calls on their behalf unless its to follow-up on something related to the account. Just a heads up this is probably a scam how they got the account name (it's very unique) is beyond me. I too received a call from this number (416) 233-0047. The person was just breathing through the phone which sounded very scary and I said “hello!” two times and I hang up. I went online to reverse the number to see who it is; I see that a lot of other people also have received strange phone call from this number.
The best thing to do is to call the police and report his/her sorry ass. Which I did, I wrote an email and report it through phone. If everyone here to do what I did, I am sure he will put back in jail where he belongs.

The first time I didn't answer. The second time I did, and it was a girl on the other side. She asked for me by my full name, and then hung up. Considering my phone is a cell phone, how the hell did this person get my number. I called back the number, and at first I got the busy signal, then I got ringing, but no answer!!! Any body have any idea who this person is? Got this call 2/18 6:26. Wasn't home, no message left. Live in Atlantic Canada. I did not give my permission for my cell number to be releasedto anyone. This was for RBC.Would like my number removed.
