Received a call from this # this morning. No Caller Id was on the display only the number. When I answered the women on the line asked if she was talking to "and she referenced the name on a bank account". I asked who she was and why she was calling she said she was doing a survey for the RBC. Told her never to call again and hung up. Contacted RBC to report and they indicated that there should be no survey calls on their behalf unless its to follow-up on something related to the account. Just a heads up this is probably a scam how they got the account name (it's very unique) is beyond me.

I too received a call from this number (416) 233-0047. The person was just breathing through the phone which sounded very scary and I said “hello!” two times and I hang up. I went online to reverse the number to see who it is; I see that a lot of other people also have received strange phone call from this number.
The best thing to do is to call the police and report his/her sorry ass. Which I did, I wrote an email and report it through phone. If everyone here to do what I did, I am sure he will put back in jail where he belongs.

Got a call around 8 p.m. My husband picked up the phone and gave it to me....when I said hello....there was nothing. Saw the comments up above about RBC.....probably them.

I got a call just now, same thing, saying they were calling on behalf of RBC, wouldn't ask any personal info and that it was just to follow up on customer service. I asked how long the survey would take, he said 5 min. Then he asked if I'd completed a transaction in branch recently, dealing directly with a customer service representative at King and Jarvis branch. I said yes and he thanked me for being a client and on behalf of RBC and hung up. I was only half paying attention when he called. I would advise you just to hang up if you get a call like this. I never should have even answered his question. My number is also unlisted, so something is weird. I've notified the bank by email that this happened.

Yes they do actually.

They called again just now. I just picked up and hung up the phone.
going crazy with these stupied calls
looks like this last reply may work for one of these outbound call centers, well lady, or man, get a f *en life, we very busy people have more to do with our time than sit around doing some survey that will take an hour to complete, listening to some stupied a** on the phone ramble on. Loss our numbers, get a real job, and get a life, stop bothering us people.so you think you are the only people who put theirself through school, i did all by myself, and while i was doing it i didn't have to bother anyone.Don't you people just get the f*** hint.GO AWAY!
