Received a call from this # this morning. No Caller Id was on the display only the number. When I answered the women on the line asked if she was talking to "and she referenced the name on a bank account". I asked who she was and why she was calling she said she was doing a survey for the RBC. Told her never to call again and hung up. Contacted RBC to report and they indicated that there should be no survey calls on their behalf unless its to follow-up on something related to the account. Just a heads up this is probably a scam how they got the account name (it's very unique) is beyond me.

I too received a call from this number (416) 233-0047. The person was just breathing through the phone which sounded very scary and I said “hello!” two times and I hang up. I went online to reverse the number to see who it is; I see that a lot of other people also have received strange phone call from this number.

The best thing to do is to call the police and report his/her sorry ass. Which I did, I wrote an email and report it through phone. If everyone here to do what I did, I am sure he will put back in jail where he belongs.

I'd researched this number online to see if was a telemarketing call....Glad I did!They keep calling my cell phone. And they never leave a message when I don't answer.

Got a call during the day on my cell!!!! Called the number bellow and told them to remove my number. At first they asked my full name and  I said I am not giving that to you, you contacted myt on my cell you can locate my number the same way and that if I recieve any more calls from their company I will take further action. THEY DO NOT WORK ON BEHALF OF RBC!!!!

Got called from this number several times in the past week.  I didn't answer and they never left voicemails.

I live in Vancouver...  I go this Phone CALL 1-(416) 233-0047 right after I got 1-231-732-2879.1-231-732-2879 SOUNDS like those shopping TV ads..  " wow, you are so LUCKY.  you won a discount trip to CanCUN.. 6 days and 9 nights"WTF.. It sounds too GOOD to be TRUE..

Just lodged a complaint on the DNC list here in Canada...

Madam,I am an employee at said compay we are very much legit we represent RBC they are the ones who prepare the survey and give us stricked guide lines to adhare to . The reason that sometimes there is a pause or silenece on the phone is that Virtual Call Centre program which is our autodilaler is not the newist of systems and often malefunctions , this being said it chimes when your number comes up on my screen and your info along with your telephone number the bank has on it file comes up . We can only speak to the person listed regardless if its joint if the person who picks up the phone is not listed we can not proceed and we make a call back appoiment with the calander section option at the bottom of our screen usually for the next day unless indcated by the customer otherwise. IF you want to speak to a live person aka a supervisior you can call (416) 233-8548 and speak to our receptionist Roanne who will the director your call to one of our daytime supervisiors Bradley or Helen during the day or our night time supervisors at 228 # Daniel , Renee ,Rachelle , or Fraser or Anne or Maya and they can put you on our dnc list . As for dnc list that does not apply to Market research surveys because we are not selling you anything or trying to get personal account info off of you ,I hope this has help and again we our ligit and on behalf of Market PRob we apologize for any innconvience we have caused you.Sincerely your,Market prob employee.

The number (416) 233-0047 called my place at 8:43pm didn't answer it. I found this site and thought what the hell ill block my number and call them back. Called at 9:09pm they hung up at 9:16pm lol hope I pissed them off!!
