Received a call from this # this morning. No Caller Id was on the display only the number. When I answered the women on the line asked if she was talking to "and she referenced the name on a bank account". I asked who she was and why she was calling she said she was doing a survey for the RBC. Told her never to call again and hung up. Contacted RBC to report and they indicated that there should be no survey calls on their behalf unless its to follow-up on something related to the account. Just a heads up this is probably a scam how they got the account name (it's very unique) is beyond me.

I too received a call from this number (416) 233-0047. The person was just breathing through the phone which sounded very scary and I said “hello!” two times and I hang up. I went online to reverse the number to see who it is; I see that a lot of other people also have received strange phone call from this number.
The best thing to do is to call the police and report his/her sorry ass. Which I did, I wrote an email and report it through phone. If everyone here to do what I did, I am sure he will put back in jail where he belongs.

This phone number was used to call me when I was working, I answered the call and they finished it.My phone is registered in the no call list, they seem to do not care about it.

I received a call from them. I called back using GChat and the recording says they are from Market Probe. I also recently opened an account at my local RBC. From the above comments about getting calls from RBC and the fact the number belongs to a market research company, I would say it's safe to say that it was an innocent market research call from RBC.

Got a call a few minutes ago, 10:15 a.m. Ontario time, they asked for my husband by his first name only, and I said he wasn't here. No message she said and hung up. Read the posts about RBC, but he doesn't do the banking. He's not been inside of a bank in 5 years. I do it all. Strange.

I just got a phone call from this number, the women asked for my husband by his first and last name, no middle name though, when I said he was not available and could I please take a message for him, the women quickly said no she would call back, I asked if she was sure she did not want to leave a message and she said she would try again later, this struck me as odd, being that if you call a persons house and they are not available usually one would leave a message or why are they calling, I googled the phone number and got this thread................Thank you!
