Received a call from this # this morning. No Caller Id was on the display only the number. When I answered the women on the line asked if she was talking to "and she referenced the name on a bank account". I asked who she was and why she was calling she said she was doing a survey for the RBC. Told her never to call again and hung up. Contacted RBC to report and they indicated that there should be no survey calls on their behalf unless its to follow-up on something related to the account. Just a heads up this is probably a scam how they got the account name (it's very unique) is beyond me.

I too received a call from this number (416) 233-0047. The person was just breathing through the phone which sounded very scary and I said “hello!” two times and I hang up. I went online to reverse the number to see who it is; I see that a lot of other people also have received strange phone call from this number.
The best thing to do is to call the police and report his/her sorry ass. Which I did, I wrote an email and report it through phone. If everyone here to do what I did, I am sure he will put back in jail where he belongs.

This #(416) 233-0047 called my home and cell number in the past 3 weeks, usually later in the day early evening & leaves no message. Finally, tried calling this number back and line was busy for 1 hr., then finally phone ringing, but no answer. I did also answer the phone during this 3 week period & it was an RBC caller, but I was in a hurry and quickly they said they would call back another time; not the typical sounding RBC representative. I'll ask for her # next time; could be connected; not sure. Th

got a call from (416) 233-0047. it is a company called Market Probe Canada (easy to find on the web) and they are infact a company working on behalf of RBC but they are extremely unprofessional and hung up on me when I asked that the number be removed from the calling list and like everyone else they avoided me calling them. After some extensive research on the net I have found this number(416) 233-1555 ...call this number to have your number removed from the list and be sure to get the name of the person who takes your request and his/her extension or operator number.you could also try calling market probe themselves 1.(416) 487-4144and asking for the president or the senior vice president. And with a few clicks of the computer it was easy to find the home phone number of the Senior vp !! (not smart on his behalf!)
