Received a call from this # this morning. No Caller Id was on the display only the number. When I answered the women on the line asked if she was talking to "and she referenced the name on a bank account". I asked who she was and why she was calling she said she was doing a survey for the RBC. Told her never to call again and hung up. Contacted RBC to report and they indicated that there should be no survey calls on their behalf unless its to follow-up on something related to the account. Just a heads up this is probably a scam how they got the account name (it's very unique) is beyond me.

I too received a call from this number (416) 233-0047. The person was just breathing through the phone which sounded very scary and I said “hello!” two times and I hang up. I went online to reverse the number to see who it is; I see that a lot of other people also have received strange phone call from this number.

The best thing to do is to call the police and report his/her sorry ass. Which I did, I wrote an email and report it through phone. If everyone here to do what I did, I am sure he will put back in jail where he belongs.

I'd researched this number online to see if was a telemarketing call....Glad I did!They keep calling my cell phone. And they never leave a message when I don't answer.

I asked the "supervisor" how did you get my number as it is unlisted. She started with this long speil about the company , I cut her off and said I didn't call to hear about your company I want to know where you got my number, she again started to rattle off about the company, I told her once again to take my number off her list and that I was reporting her and then I slammed the phone on her ear .

I too recieved a call from this number.  they asked for me by name screwing up my last name as usual but they talked to my step daughter and she said I was not in and they would call back.  i tried calling this number from my cell repeatedly and always busy then no answer.  the only company to have my new phone in the last week is RBC....

I received a call from this number today.  A young girl called me by my first name that I never use and no last name.  She said she wanted to do a survey with me about RBC.  I told her no and she just said ok and hung up.  I then called my local branch and told them about the call.  Then I called the company associated with the number, Market Probe Canada Phone: (416) 233-1555, and the lady who answered the phone was very nice to talk to.  She said that Market Probe Canada has been hired by RBC and Canadian Tire to make survey calls.  She said that they have a lot of teenagers working for them that are not very professional on the phone.  She apologized to me and said she would remove my number from their system.  She  told me to call Royal Bank 1-800-royal-11 and ask them about Market Probe Canada.  I called the Royal bank 800 number and after a few minutes the guy told me that yes, RBC uses this company for survey information.  I asked him why my number was given out since I am registered to not have calls from RBC.  He said he did not know and that it should not have happened.

Got a call for this number this afternoon on my cell. Didn't pick it up as i'm working. They didn't leave a msg either...

Kept getting calls answered once girl sounds like she just rolled out of bed asked for me bymy ex married name and i said i was informed this is a scam she said " oh my f*@$ no were not" and i hung up and blocked them
