They do not care if they have called the wrong number. I blocked the call.

I can confirm that        "You can call back from a land line to the number (403) 770-9051 and request to have your phone number taken off their daller." Worked for me.

Called asking for my husband (totally mispronounced his name). Told them to quit calling and hung up

GT Group Telecom Services Corp is a Bell Canada Company; Bell Canada acquired Group Telecom in November, 2004.  They are a marketing call center based in Victoria BC and Vancouver BC with a number of calling campaigns, including selling Credit Card Insurance (ie BMO Bank of Montreal credit card holders, etc). You are getting calls because you applied for a credit card and they put you on an automated dialler. You can call back from a land line to the number (403) 770-9051 and request to have your phone number taken off their dialler.

I called their head office in Kelowna, they gave me Bell Canada's +1 888-333-2811 but it goes to Residential and Business Services, and you can't reach anyone...

I receive calls from this # everyday. Can it be blocked by anychance?

Credit card company marketing new services with a free trial period.  They keep calling until you answer the call.
