I received a call today from the above number.It was from a man with a strong african accent going by the name of James.He claimed to be asking for donations on behalf of the Canadian Police Association. He said that the money would be going to support officers going to local schools to warn students about sexual assaults/rapes. He asked for $75 for 3 children and (I believe) $50 for 2 children or anything I could contribute.It sounded funny that the police would be asking for funding for such a thing?I hung up and did not contribute.I found a site that had others with similar problems. http://800notes.com/Phone.aspx/1-(403) 770-0543#pRWUPF06gQwA3IgjL5Q2WYg

this number called twice first time i didn't answer they didn't leave a message second time i answered and a man with an english accent and aggressive tone calling himself Peter Nolan asking me if it is the residence of my family name i asked who are u first and where are u calling from he replies sternly trying to sound like a policle man that he must first identify me first, i told him that he is calling me so he must identify himself first at this he replies he replies back strongly " so we are going to it this way eh " I reply back sharply if he is a telemarketer at this he hangs up. This is obviously a scammer, but the irony is that this person who is calling and assuming the role of police or a person of authority actually dialed a cops house.

The same # called 2 days in a row. I did not pickup the first call but did google the # and saw all the complaints. The 2nd call was picked up and the woman on the other end said she was from police services. I called her on it and asked her to take me off their call list. She was quite aggressive and would not stop talking. I had to hang up on her.

Total Calgary Number. Interesting. I had a call I think Back in october for a fundraiser. They Asked me for my M/C.
