I have been receiving repeatedly calls from this number on consecutive days.  Definitely an auto-dialer as it leaves voice mail with dead air.  I thought they would stop eventually, but my patience ran out and I called back.  To my surprise, they have a voice mail!  It's the Calgary Herald calling for "special promotion"!  In the voice mail message, the voice states that you can ask to have your phone number removed from the calling list.  You must clearly state your area code and phone number and it will be done within 24 hours.  Hopefully that does the trick, otherwise I'm filing a complaint.

calls and hangs up, clearly a telemarketer or pervert....are they really any different.

File a complaint to the do not call registry lets give this one a fine!

This post should be deleted as it is very ofensive to people who work at home , house wives etc, you are more irrating then the actual scam calls. Especially when these calls are being placed iilegaly.Not to mention the auto dialer has to have a human hand in this somewhere. Think before you type.
