They have been calling me and then hanging up. Who are these people and lets get this stopped!

I am getting calls from (403) 648-3978 and my number is registered with the National do not call list. These people don't care if they bug you on sundays on boxing day at night any time of day. They are so annoying.

7 calls in 6 days. Have asked them twice to take me off their contact list. Reported them on dnc homepage. Hope they can do something

I just received a call from this number (403) 648-3978. I have an unlisted number and it is on the DO NOT Market list. I have relatives in Alberta, and did not do a double check on the number before answering. The Girl started off with her schpeel and I told her flatly, remove my number it is not to be called under any marketing scams. She hung up on me.

I have had 5 calls from the (403) 648-3978 and (403) 770-0522 asking me to take a survey.On the 4th call (second call in the same day) I talked to a manager and was taken off their call list apparently.  I just received a call today (Aug 24, 2010) wanting me to do a survey first question "do you recycle at your home?".I have just complained with the Canadian do not call list and have placed my number on the Canadian Do Not Call List.  If you are in Canada I suggest you do the same.  Their web site is www.lnnte-dncl.gc.ca.Good luck everyone.

I too got a call from this random number last week. They asked me "survey" questions but that seemed to have no relationship to one an other. The lady also didn't mention what the results were going to be used for. Since the questions were harmless (eg "do I think air pollution is a problem") I answered them all and hung up. Today the lady called my husband and rambled about winning our choice of 3 prizes, a rice cooker, a set of knives or a vacation/trip (for the same price as a rice cooker?) all because of a survey I answered. They wanted to send a Calgary based employee to our house and my husband was confused enough to let it slip where we lived. She mentioned that they wanted to sell us some other product while they came to deliver the prize. I've tried to call back to cancel, but just get a busy signal. This reads scam all over it and needless to say we won't be home for the high pressure salesman that's bound to be waiting. Don't bother answering the bogus survey and let your family know not to let them over if they call back. I'm phoning the provider of this number to lodge a complaint tonight.

I got a call today, I did not answer as it was area code 403 and I live in Vancouver where it is 604 and do not know anyone in the Calgary area.   All they did was say "hello" on my voice mail and hung up....hello??...did you not know you were listening to a voice mail and say hello to a voice mail.   If they call and I answer it, I will tell them I do not have a husband and I am widowed as my husband was killed on the job, hopefully that will make them feel bad.   I have heard of other people saying that if a survey place calls you, you tell them that you charge $150.00/minute to complete a survey and you need to money up front and in full before you complete it.

I wish these places were illegal, I mean the whole world has call display, call screen and no one will answer a number they do not know (especially if it is out of area or a 866/888#).  How much money do they actually make, making these calls??

Same with those people who call from India in the middle of the night telling you that you owe money to a bogus collection agency.   I think it is just a matter of time before Tel-Marketers, Survey people, and news paper sales as well as collection agencies will become obsolete

(403) 648-3978This number calls my house 3-4 times a day. I have 3 small children and do not have time for this bull. I hung up on them right after they asked me (with a baby crying in the back round) "is this s good time?" i said no, don't call back. They don't get the message so next time I will make sure they do! I'm going to pick up and go to the other line, wait 10 mins, come back and ask them if that was annoying, then hang up.
