With reference to my last post I have acquired more information concerning the Tel # (403) 770-0522. This morning after talking to the Consumer Protection dept of BC and they advised me to call "Phone Busters", tel # 1-+1 888-495-8501. They are aware of the concerns associated with the (403) 770-0522, they suggested that I call Govt Blocker tel # 1-+1 866-580-3625. These people are directly involved with system that tel users could call to have their number blocked. After explaining our situation the agent said that there is already a process on-going about Tel # (403) 770-0522. I asked him to block the two tel number I had that this Calgary firm uses. He said he had already done that , he also offered that the 2 numbers I gave him were already under investigation he further said that  they have an additional 25 at least so all numbers were blocked from calling us. The last call I feel has finally put a stop to this fraud. CTRC are aware of this problem and working toward a solution.(Hopefully) I would advise other people with the same concern call the Govt Blocker first. Hope this helps.. JB

Not sure about these people said that I won I traveling package and going to bring it to my home. I told them I want to check out there company.They called 3 times

I signed up for the Do Not Call registry. These guys present themselves as as "survey company" so they can try to find a way around the rules set up by the registry (survey companies are exempt).  

I've filed a complaint at https://www.lnnte-dncl.gc.ca/plt-cmp-eng - I'd recommend everyone else doing that, too.

I received a call this morning from a Breathe E-Z sales person saying that I took a survey a week and a half ago and have now won a prize. She allowed me to choose one of three options and told me a rep would come by the house tonight to deliver my prize. Sorry, but I didn't realize giving my name and husband's name would be new info to anyone...you can get it on line or in telus phone book. Anyways, they haven't shown up and THANKFULLY by the sounds of these complaints! Really though, what is the worst that could happen from the info given? I must be truly naive and they never asked me how I would pay for purchases etc. seemed harmless enough.
