I just called back on the number (403) 770-0529 (as suggested higher on the page). I asked if I was talking to Breathe E-z and the woman answered "why do you want to know?" HA! Well, I was direct, STOP CALLING. With baby on board in two weeks there is no freaking way I will have them call me 3 times a day! I told her to get me off their calling list and gave her my phone number without any name. Let's see if that worked...If it still doesn't work, I'll probably send them the extra dirty diapers my little one will be making because of them!

Yup .... I got that call to do a Survey in which I aswered questions about having asthma, a pet, do you prefer to use a debit or credit card etc. At the end she mentioned I could win a prize for doing the survey... so I gave my name. Well they called my wife a day later telling her I had won a prize and she could choose between the Knives or Tupperware set... (we weren't even offered the vacation as we must seem like simple people). She said she would take the Tupperware and they asked for our address, thinking they were going to mail it - she gave them the address then they informed her that they would set up a time for somebody to personally deliver it... of course only when we were both home. Then she said that they would be "Showing a demostration and that there would be no pressure to buy that they were more concerned with word of mouth" Yeah right....
I was told by my oh so apologetic wife as she knew it was a scam cause of course it is high pressure sales.... As I have already sat through one of these vacuum sales pitches years back where it took me 2 1/2 hrs to get rid of them and at that time I lived in a 700 sqft apartment with maybe 400 sqft of carpet and they wanted $2000 for a vacum to do that much carpet... you had to be kidding.... I would hate to see their eyes widen with the house I live in now - it would probably take me 4 hrs to get rid of them.....
End result - I called the number back from the survey (403) 536-6727 and told them we did not want the prize and to cancel the appointment. The woman was nice about it but if they show up I will be telling them to please leave!!!
Thanks to all of the other people here who left warnings - we used them to make sure we should cancel this appointment.

Oh my gosh, I am so glad I found this website. I know the story gets repetitive but this is just to show how pushy these guys are. I got phone calls everyday from (403) 214-1446 showing Breathe E-Z Home on the caller ID, I made the mistake to answer one day, poor english girl asking 100 questions, did the survey; couple of days later got a call with the lucky prize, did an appointment and then starting to research and found this website. So I just blocked their number now, I haven't cancel the appointment though; but will do it if they call again or get through somehow. Thank you everybody for their comments, they are so helpful. It's good to know there is more people going through the same. Thank you JJ for mentioning SHAW services, I didn't know about this before!

I just got called by the (403) 770-0522 # and it's an unlisted unpublished number and I work for the phone company. Companies like these will be done once the National Do Not Call list goes into effect the end of September 2008. I called the (403) 770-0529 # and they answered "SBDD" and wanted to know why I was calling.

I hate these companies esp. when I pay for an unlisted unpublished number.

someone did actually came to your house for the demo, of couse that was before I found out about this website or else we wouldn't have agreed.  Don't really know what we were thinking!!! Anyways, it's not high pressure sale but it is a long demo. The product is good but we didn't buy.  We just agreed for the demo because of the vacation package, which isn't bad. SCAM - I answered a help wanted ad.  Went to 2 of info "attend a 3 day course to become a certified air quality technician.....FINALLY the high pressure rep pulls out a  hidden Kirby vacuum, and explains that FILTER QUEEN (their product) is better.  I feel cheated I went to two days of qualifying for a job - only then to discover it is as a vac. cleaning salesman!  Very dubious and dishonest approach, leads me to feel I could have just as easily been drafted to represent a disliked door-to-door religious group!  During the whole 2 day process they said it was a medical supply company - gave cryptic company names of anything and everything EXCEPT Filter Queen.  I feel violated and cheated the underhanded way this was done!
