Long weekend, Sunday night and an Election coming up.  maybe it was Vic Towes?

I also got a call from this number on Sunday evening after supper. I answered the phone but I heard nothing. These scammers seem to have no conscience. They use local area codes and call on a Sunday evening to fool us into picking up the phone. They know that people won't answer if they use foreign area codes. They also know that people are usually home on a Sunday evening. If this keeps up, nobody will bother picking up the phone and we'll all be just leaving messages to one another.

I called back twice but it doesn't ring. Or it's busy.

I received a call from this number, no response when I answered. I called back, (long distance out of Calgary) and voicemail greeting asking for name, address and phone # to be able to removed from survey call list. (Seems like too much info to give to be removed, so I just left my phone number as this should be sufficient). ?I do not fully understand why survey and politicians begging for money/support can not be included in the national "DNC" list. Isnt the point to not be disturbed by anyone who doesn't actually know the person/people at the other end of the call?

I have this number blocked now.... to bad our phone companies prefer to collect long distance charges from these organizations rather than protect our privacy!
