Indications are that CIBC is scanning for active numbers in order to add you to their list. Just received one at 10:20pm, one ring, and then gone. I suspect I'll get a phone call from them soon or text message.

I am in Buttonville, Ontario. I got this call "(403) 313-3718" this morning (Feb 27, 2013 @ 9:30), it ringed once.

re: (403) 313-3718 etc... I'm convinced this is a racket to get people with pre-paid cell phones to use up their cash for nothing and they are calling out with skype probably and it costs them nothing so who benefits ? the cell phone provider. You also get an automatic you've received a message so you are caught either way and it being a long distance number makes you think it's important. It's surely a scam to make people use up their cellular accounts for nothing, it's a racket.

I use a Rogers service in Toronto called One Number, which allows me to use my cell number on my computer. It also has a block feature and it works great. I blocked this number a long time ago and today I got a log entry that a call came in from that number, but neither my computer nor iPhone range. Cool!

Just got a phone call from (403) 313-3718, hung up on me that jerk, what's up going on? 11:22 a.m., probably a telemarketer like TELUS, they did that with a 7 digit phone number (i forgot) but found out , and BRISTOL TRUST (604) 431-7407, ?anyway, these people need to now this is HARRASSMENT!

9:13 pm and I got a call same as the others - one ring, dead air.  This is why I hang up on all telemarketers - they have no class.

Just got this phone call, here in Victoriaville, Qc, 17h15 (area code 819). Call received on a switched line, the second one only begins ringing before the call stops. Nothing more. Call-back gives no ringing.
