Indications are that CIBC is scanning for active numbers in order to add you to their list. Just received one at 10:20pm, one ring, and then gone. I suspect I'll get a phone call from them soon or text message.

Odds are this number is testing to see if your number is valid so it can be sold as part of a package deal to a telemarketing firm.  Just got a call from it today.

I just received a phone call from this number. Rang only once, call display didn't show their ID and they hung up. I live in Sherbrooke aera in Quebec and I speak French. They eventually call anyone, I guess. I also have a privante number and I am with Bell.

It's a LD provider number.

Called at 3:23 today, do not know who it is.  Telemark for sure, no message on answer machine. Someone is just checking on who is home and could be organized crime.
