get calls from this number and theres noone on the other end. its annoying

I also recieved multiple calls from this number. no one seems to answer, and when called back, gives a telus automated announcement.... very annoying

Yeah, this is from telus phoneservice provider. I've gotten it twice today but I have no clue why they are calling.

Wondering why this number keeps calling???

We just got our phone hooked up this week. We haven't even given our number to our parents or anyone, and have just started getting calls from this number.... Lame

These twits tried to call me twice today, but since I have caller ID, I didn't answer. A couple of months ago, I got a call from this number and it appeared to be someone in a call centre in India. These people assume that if they call, you should make a decision on services that will cost you $150 per month.....and I do not make decisions on such expenses without doing thorough homework!While I'm not totally impressed with Shaw, their creeping price levels, and their Plan Personaliser which is a confusing upsell mechanism, I'm with them for now. One of the phone options with Shaw is selective call blocking.......and I just blocked (403) 310-2255. If you have the option, suggest you use it.

I found out from dialing just 310-2255 that it connects me with Telus' 20 questions robot. The woman who finally answered the phone said I'm to call 1-+1 800-567-0000 and press 1 for privacy concerns, scams, and marketing calls. I don't remember the exact wording.

When I did so and asked the woman to be taken off their sales calling list. she assured me that I would soon stop receiving those calls. I received one this afternoon. Hopefully that will be the last time.

By the way, I also learned that the national "Do Not Call" list is set up so that your number is removed after a couple of years. The Telus lady advised me to call and re-register with the DNC folks. The number is 1-+1 866-580-3625. I'll call them tomorrow when their office is open.
