have had this number call before but finally answered. He asked for the lady of the house ..i said no thanks then hung up. they called again 2 ours later and when i answered they hung up. if you are with shaw you can block numbers from calling your house.just go to there website and check how.

A woman from this phone number called twice yesterday.I answered,she stated she was with &$&%% company (didn't understand the name as she had a thick accent),and "Are you the lady of the house?",then she started asking me questions;"Do you or anybody in your house smoke"?,Do you have any pets?.Then I asked again what company she's with,she said it's a national marketing company.I then asked how she got my number (as it's unlisted),she stated "It's in the directory".I then stated I did not want to continue with the call.She actually just thanked me for my time and hung up.HOWEVER,I forgot to take the call forward off and it was going to my husband's cell phone today.The same number called FOUR TIMES this morning!My husband answered the first time,don't know what he said to them.Then right after I took the call forward off,the same number called my house again!It was the same woman who called previously,same thick accent.(Spanish?).I then told her that I knew she called our number many times today and TO TAKE OUR PHONE NUMBER OFF OF HER DIRECTORY!I YELLED IT at her.She calls again,I'm reporting it to whomever I can find to do so.

Just had a call from this number. The caller (speaking with some sort of accent) introduced himself as being from SBT or SPT, asked if I was "the man of the house" (hello, 1950 calling?), began asking questions (same as others here have stated - any smokers, any athsma/allergies, any pets, how long have we lived here, owner or renter, occupations). I finally interrupted and asked again for the name of the company - he repeated SBT (or SPT, don't remember). I stated that I didn't feel comfortable giving this information without knowing what it was going to be used for. He told me that it was for "lead generation", at which point I asked him to remove our information from their database and to add our number to any do-not-call list that they maintain internally. Unfortunately my cordless phone picked that moment to drop the connection (he didn't hang up on me, it was my phone), so I don't know what his response was to that.

I received this call two nights in a row, the first night.  He said he was conducting a survey.  He asked if there was any smokers in the house to which I answered...I then said I'm not interested in participating and he said it wouldn't take up much of my time.  I repeated myself saying that I'm not interested and he persisted, so I just hung up on him.  The very next day he called again...this time I just said stop calling this number.  I'm not even listed in the phone book plus I'm on the no call list...

This is interesting. I got on this site because i was looking for information about Central Clean Air as i have an interview with them today for a job!! I got the right address from what i was told was head office in Vancouver. The address is 1228 Ontario Ave. I'll see what i can learn during my interview to help you all out.The job I'm applying for: The person that comes to your home to demo the air cleaner! LOL. They did say on the phone that we get the leads sent to us from the calling center in Vancouver. I'll try to clarify that!TTYL
