Just had a call from this number. The caller (speaking with some sort of accent) introduced himself as being from SBT or SPT, asked if I was "the man of the house" (hello, 1950 calling?), began asking questions (same as others here have stated - any smokers, any athsma/allergies, any pets, how long have we lived here, owner or renter, occupations). I finally interrupted and asked again for the name of the company - he repeated SBT (or SPT, don't remember). I stated that I didn't feel comfortable giving this information without knowing what it was going to be used for. He told me that it was for "lead generation", at which point I asked him to remove our information from their database and to add our number to any do-not-call list that they maintain internally. Unfortunately my cordless phone picked that moment to drop the connection (he didn't hang up on me, it was my phone), so I don't know what his response was to that.

I am from a tiny town in Saskatchewan and this (403) 284-1176 keeps calling while I am at work, never leaves a message so I looked it up in Telus and Canada 411 directory says the number belongs to a Anne T Macleod. Can not find what city in Alberta it is from. Have not called the number and probably won't as it appears to be another scam.

Repeated calls from (403) 284-1176. Even after politely informing this woman that I did not have time for her phone survey, she called back a few minutes later. I then realized there was a problem and decided to google the number. After reading numerous complaints posted online, I called the police and phone busters to lodge my own complaint. I would encourage anyone receiving these calls to do the same so we can put an end to this. The number for phone busters is 1-+1 888-495-8501. They will take your information which is then forwarded to an investigator.

I've gotten three calls in the last 2 days from this number.
