This is a scam! I couldn't see the phone number this person was calling from. I asked him where I could call him back and he gave me this number. He said his name was Ralph (with an Indian accent) from Ontario and that he was calling from the Windows Service Centre regarding a problem with my computer.I knew from the start that this was a scam. So I faked going on my computer and was asking for directions. He would ask to use my windows key + the letter R. Then type event vwr and click ok. I stopped there since I didn't want to do anything to compromise my computer.

Got the call on my iPhone.  I live on the West Coast.   Didn't recognize it and didn't answer it.   Will be blocking the number to avoid being annoyed and the scam.

same overherethey tryed to enter my computer and kept talking ... after a while I understood that they wanted to sell mee a virus program .. imidiatly I closed the connection and restored my computer 1 day back ... no harm done ( I hope ) ... bert abbing ( the netherlands )

That phone number was given to me as a company called " WINDOWS SERVICE CENTER "the name of the technician that give me that number is "Charlie" and is supervisor is name is "Ralph".
