Just received a call from this number offering to lower my Visa intrest rate. The guy wanted to "Verify" some info..I hung up and reported him to Visa..They are investigating..

This is actually some local switchboard that re-routes international calls.  I get calls from a friend who is in South Africa right now and it shows up on the call display as a local call from 480-9170.

So the number itself is harmless, however, people calling through it might not be.

some sick bastard left a perverted message on my answering machine with my daughter singing on it saying "i bet that little girl would sound a whole lot better with a penis in her mouth.  call me back b***h"  i think youd sound a whole lot better with a shotgun in your mouth buddy.  this number should be shut down, it sounds like its nothing but trouble.

I just got a call on my cell and they said they were from a concierge company. (I run a shopping & delivery service) they asked if i their clients could use my services. I asked a couple questions and he couldn't answer them properley so i hung up.  They called right back but i didn't answer.

I got a call on my cell phone from this number. No message was left. I did a reverse search to see who it belonged to, but it is unpublished. I tried unsucessfully to call it.

Both my parents and I received a call from (204) 480-9170 yesterday evening.  No one spoke to me.  Just a hollow tinny sound on the phone.  I called MTS and they said this number belongs to Group Telecom.  I e-mailed them to stop using this number.  More annoying to me but others have more serious complaints.
