I got a call on 4/10/2013

Phoned cell phone, did not leave message

I just got a call from them and at first a girl answered and asked for my name and then all of a sudden it was a guy on the line and identified themselves as someone from RBC. They proceeded to ask me if I was available and I said no and they said they would call back another time and hung up. So odd.

I've been getting calls from this "company" who has multiple different numbers that they call from- as I block each different number everytime they call.They say they are calling from Samtec (sp?), and want to sell your insurance for your RBC credit card. Very pushy to sell, even when you say no. Tries to offer you a 30 day free trial, in which you have to 'send back' the insurance policy if you do not want to pay. Legit (lol).Obviously a scam, if they call back again, I will request to be put on their "do not call" list. If they keep calling after that, I will have to report it somehow. They have a different number each time, so it's hard to just "ignore" or block just one number.Very irritating ... would love to know how they got my number :/

I have yet to answer this, but I believe it is RBC.

Lady called and ask for a certain member of family, and I said they're not home right now would you like to leave a message, and it directed to what sounded like a automated message, they said "hi my name is steven baker im from rbc calling...." but when you reply stop calling, their response is quick and they say sorry, and continue to say they're from RBC.... It's a scam

Samtel Solutions......telemarketer

The number that is (204) 289-0964 is in Manitoba Canada, I received a call from it at 10:26 am Ontario time. I did not answer it knowing it would be a telemarketer, like so many other numbers I do not know. I am trying to run a business and find it hard to get work done with all these crappy interruptions. I am not going to pay long distance charges to call them to tell them to not call me again. They may get the message if I never answer and finally leave me the H*LL alone!!!!!
