This # called twice today - when you call back
it says not in service and then you get a busy sound.

have been called three times today by this number...when i answer there is no one there..then the call goes dead. when i try to call back it says the # is out of service??/ i am on the do not call list so I have no idea why they would be calling ...anyone else in the niagara region getting the same calls?

We have been receiving numberous call from (905) 988-5265. When I called bell *69, this was the number given. When I tried to call was told the number is not in service, or, cannot be reached by this method etc. On line, I have since discovered that this is Rogers Communications solicitors.

Got a call that claimed to be from Microsoft.  That's funny, I've never heard Microsoft directly calling residential numbers, at 8pm on Saturday.  Asked the guy what his name was, he said Daniel Fox.  He didn't sound like a Daniel Fox to me, unless Daniel was trying to fake a thick Indian accent.  When I asked for the number that he could be contacted at he gave the actual Microsoft Store number.  These fools actually bothered to look up the actual number.Anyhow, this "Daniel Fox" was trying to say that my computer was sending them "error signals".  Obviously a scam so I asked the guy what IP address the errors were coming from.  The guy tries to change the subject.  Then I tell him I don't have any computers that run windows.  After a while I think I frustrated the guy so much he started saying inappropriate comments about my wife.  I told him she wasn't amused.  So, complete SCAM.  I broke this guy down and he started trying to get personal but it backfired on him.

Recieved a call around 12:30pm, male with thick East Indian accent stating he was from MicroSoft. Apparently my computer was showing I had viruses and he could tell this at his end. I heard about the scam so I played along with him for abit. He continued to ask me questions about my computer, directing me to perform certain tasks. I finally stopped listening to him and hung up. The male call back twice, finally leaving a message that "I will be sorry".BIRD !
