They've called me 5 times in less than an hour. I've finally blocked their number. They should be put out of business

Unsolicited phone calls.

I havent signed up for anything, in fact only one person has the number they called twice this morning alone. So no, Crystle, you didn't have to sign up for anything for these people to call.

They called me saying they are going to be in kanata on the 16th, I said I'm not going to be in the city in that week and she was like oh ok and hang the phone!
I don't remember signing anything

They keep calling me as well and leaving a message that is just air or you can hear people talking but cant make out their conversations.

Here's the deal - after 20 hours of labour, my incredible wife gave birth to our first child - you get bombarded by nurses (worth every minute) then someone else from welcome wagon, then someone from another company - you are happy, over joyed, OVER WHELMED!!! you sign cause the world is a better place with your new bundle of joy - I for one am glad I gave them my phone # so they don't harass my wife who is tending to a new born 24-7 - I've told them "no" but I still have a missed call from them every day - no harm, no foul - I just know that they have nothing better to do and they will NEVER get my business!!!

A  LADY FROM (905) 940-9661 CALLED MY NUMBER TODAY LOOKING FOR MARIA.??I get calls up to 4 times a day sometimes from this # but don't answer. This was the first time I answered hoping  to  to complain. I only put myself on the DNCL 2 weeks ago and apparently it takes over a month to take effect.What was the offer for anyway

These people call everyother day, under different names.
For example, Wee Gift, Can Baby, Baby Portait... And those are only a few of the names that came up from that same number.

It's canadian baby, they want to take free portraits for your baby. You would have signed up for it when you signed up for the welcome wagon for your new baby, you knew they were going to call so why are you bitching?Maybe the next time you sign up for something you'll pay attention to what it entails, rather than bitching.

Received their call last week on my cell while I was at work. I declined and clearly stated I'm not interested. I have 2 calls from them today. Didn't pick up and they didn't leave a message. for everyone here, there is a new legislation starting Sept. 30 called the Do Not Call List (DNCL). Every company is required by law to maintain one. If you receive a call from Canadian Baby (or from any other such seller) you can ask to be put on the DNC List. If they don't, you can make a compliant and they will be fined hard enough to learn a lesson for future.
