This caller never answers when I lift up the receiver.
Haven't a clue who they are except to say they are a nuisance.

Received call from this number, male voice asked how I was and then stated a company name, which I could not understand because of the accent. I said I was fine but did not want to talk to him and just hung up

phone almost every day, sometimes several times/day.  Hangs up when answering machine picks up.  Hear hang-up signal. No name displayed, no voice left. Answering machine light does not blink as it does with other callers that hang up.

Keeps calling the house,  just ignored it

Folks, buy a Telezapper.  $30 or less on eBay.  It will bump your phone # out of the database, for any calls dialed by a computer "predictive dialer".  Got a call from this number today; our Telezapper beeped & the call immediately disconnected.  It fools these machines into thinking your number is disconnected.  Then, if they're using the right kind of machinery, they should not be able to call you again.  All you have to do is explain to your legitimate callers why your phone beeps when you pick up.
