Received call from this number, male voice asked how I was and then stated a company name, which I could not understand because of the accent. I said I was fine but did not want to talk to him and just hung up

Finally i speak with a person (after many calls in one day)...it is a company for credit cards offer. If you want to speak with a person just pick up the call and wait 10 at 15 seconds.....

Keeps calling the house,  just ignored it

Man, It seems like a news paper joint called me from a local number right before, moments later this long distance number rang in, maybe the same company trying ring tactics?

I received several phone calls from this number but they never talk or leave any message.

This caller never answers when I lift up the receiver.
Haven't a clue who they are except to say they are a nuisance.
