The calls from (905) 855-5249 are from a collection agency, Contact Resource Services, who specialize in older accounts that cannot be taken to court due to the Limitations Act.

If they violate the laws governing collection agencies, take them to court.

CONTACT RESOURCE SERVICES  are nothing but Thieves. I paid off my debts July 2010 that's about Two to three months back and received a letter from them stating that I paid off in full all my Roger's mobile outstanding, I also have copies of Banks transfers and amount of money taken from account by CRS to pay off the outstanding. All over the sudden an A**hole from CRS side phoned me this morning, Angry and shouting!! claiming that the outstanding not being paid!???? I phoned Rogers to complain, and found out that CRS did not inform their Clint (Rogers) about my payments neither about the status of my file, it looks like these bustards did this in purpose so they can scam me and Rogers with more unlawful money!  I informed Rogers that I paid off all my debt and that they have to invistigate the reasons why CRS did not update them???!! The way I see it CRS is nothing but thieves, accompanied with unprofessional behavior of unorganized work!! it makes me wonder how many victims like me should suffer because of these stupid a**holes!?? I have informed my Lawyer about all this and we have decided to sue them for harassment and false accusation

Same problem, got a call from these people ask for "sarah" no last name, and when I was handed the phone they hung up. Like honestly whats the point of calling and asking for someone, and then hanging up ? Stupid.

I have had many calls lately from this number asking for Richard and refereing to a case number. Most of the time it was an automated message, untill today when I had a live person on the phone who was very rude, annoying and unprofessional, telling me that I was lying about my identity and that I needed to fax proof that I was not this person. When I asked for their e-mail address she would not give me one. Of course I did not fax my ID after I researched this on the internet. Do not send your ID, they will probably just use this info to mislead other people.

This in CRS - Contact Resource Services, a company that buys bad debts for pennies on the dollar. They will try anything they can to berate you and harrass you into paying if you answer them even once. The calls come first from +1 888-771-5803, then they'll call from (905) 855-5249. I have these numbers on my cell and assigned the ring tone to be nothing so when those numbers call it doesn't even ring but says on the screen that they called!
