I got a call from this number today. Weird thing is they had my name and my phone number asking if I knew how to contact some dude name John cause they had his cat and I was a emergency contact. I never adopted a dog still wondering how they got my number and my name.

they keep calling me at different times and it's from ontario.  i recently adopted a dog from a shelter.  they keep calling and hanging up.

I did not adopt a pet either, took my pet to ARL for micro chip clinic

they called me regarding our dogs microchip

Googled this number and found this wensite. Now I know. They call me once every other day. This doesn't bother me as long they don't call me at night. I just don't answer and since they don't leave messages they don't wast my time. I love my pet, and I would not return it or give it up just because I get bothered by some stupid calls. C'mon people if this bothers you how are you going to teach your dog to sit or a cat lol. It takes hell of more patience than ignoring calls. See ya!

If they continue to call, I will take the cat back to the Humane Society!  I did not sign up for any free insurance and if I was signed up without my consent that is fraud.Good way for these shelters to make a lot of enemies.  And to comment on that dog with cancer response...if my dog gets to that point, he will be put down.
