Replied to a kijiji ad about a solar consultant job requiring no experience and offers $500 to $1000 per week.  Called by a "John Lessard" from "Certified Solar". Immediately offers interview for the next day (says he's intervewing tons of people, only 2 time slots left) without asking ANY QUESTIONS.

Scheduled the interview just to see where this is going. Address is completely different from anything found on the website for the company. Some boony place in the outskirts of Mississauga: 2191 Dunwin Drive.

Not going, I believe this is a scam.

Good call.  My son wanted a summer job, was "interviewed by this guy for all of 2 minutes in the lobby of his apartment building (????). Then was immediately "hired", given a box of what looked like missed courier delivery stickers, which are actually for a company called Certified Solar. A quick search for this company shows them to be involved in door-to-door selling of solar panel systems which are supposed to save you money on energy. Most reports are that it's a questionable operation.My son was required to use his own car to cover several neighborhoods and apply these stickers to doors. He was told not to knock on doors, just stick the notice on and walk away. After the first day it smelled fishy to me so I told him not to go back.This was several weeks ago and of course no pay, and the phone number's now out of service. he's out $30 in gas but a little wiser now.
