This number calls and if I answer they just hang up.  What is the point of that?  I checked on google and apparently they are tagged as telemarketers on Spokeo.  Not at all that I want to talk to them, but how do they expect to sell anything if they hang up?   What is the reason for calling and hanging up repeatedly?

Comes up as 'Order Verification' on CID. Female voice, in a retardedly slow manner says "We are calling about the order you recently placed. This is a order verification call. Please hold while we connect you." I then get treated to criminally bad R&B music, and unfortunately after minutes of waiting on speaker phone while I did something usefull with my life (unlike the scum who run these operations), the line unfortunately gets cut. It is with utter sadness that I could not pursue having my nebulous and obviously poorly constructed scam call connected to a low calibre completely uneducated individual, so that I could play along at first to try to find out more about the misfits behind this particular operation, but am moreso upset about not being able to end my call to them with unheard of vulgarities on their personal family, with vivid instructions on sexual acts they should perform with them. Hopefully I have better luck next time, as I wish to each of you who are exposed to these calls, as they continue to beg reasons for meaningful human existence by it's perpetrators.

I answered a call from them , they had been calling me non stop. They said I had won an online contest but could not tell me which one. Said it was probably for a walmart gift card or an Ipad. They then said I had won a $1000 plan voucher through a website that looks very sketchy. I didn't respond. Next they told me I had also won 5 magazines for the cost of just one through Elle magazine. I think asked if I could decline the magazine as I did not wish to pay for it. They told me the two came together, I didn't get my flights unless I purchased the magazine. I let them know that I was "declining" the prize and hung up on them

Calls my cell phone twice a day atleast every singe day. Calls start at 8am all the way to 8 pm.I've never answered the call but I called the number back and all it said was----you have reached the corporate office leave a message and someone will get back to you. I hung up. In other posts ive read they say its cibc collections. If it is to do with CIBC I don't have any involvement with them and I'm really getting tired of being woken up after working all night to this absolute s***. I live in Niagara Falls Ontario.. I have been receiving these phonecalls all week this week, I too live in Niagara Falls,Ontario.  I have called back and left a message on their "Corporate office" voicemail and told my phone number and requested ever so "nicely" for them to stop calling my phone number or I will have to report them to the proper authorities.  We'll see if that stops them.  Soooo annoying!
