I received a phone call by a lady named Anita who said she worked on behalf of Fujifilm Canada & was calling in reference to a job I'd applied for a while back. I called her the following day to notify that I was interested however I wasn't able to reach her & only got her voice-mail and left a message not thinking much of it till the following week. The following Monday I called her again, however earlier this one around yet once again I went straight to voice-mail again but leaving a more detailed message hoping she'd call back later but nothing. So, a friend & I did some investigating of our own. Only to find out the phone was pseudo & the company's number was completely different from the number I called earlier. The moral of this story is when it comes to job searching, the 101 rules that all job seekers should know is:1. Always question things, don't take them at face value. (ie. If something is too good to be true, it usually is or if the HR person who called you doesn't return your calls after several attempts) 2. Always search for 3 things all legitimate companies should have (Name, Address, Phone number etc.)3. When still in doubt, cross reference the companies on places such as, Yellow pages/411 etc.
