if they are calling on "behalf" of the federal government.. that means the federal government is "still involved." hence the reason why you would STILL receieve the notices. the federal government doesnt completely discharge your debt like a regular bank would. they are still activly involved with monitoring the progress of your account.. they simply dont wish to speak with you because you have defaulted on your debt!!which is the reason they hire third party collections

called my phone and would no let me know what it was about. I did some further research and they are a scam company saying that you or someone you are related to or just know owes money and they want to collect it. Don't give them anything or a name just say they have the wrong number and hang up.

Maybe you guys should just pay your bills :)

Keep calling me asking me for a person that i don't know

Called my house around 1pm, spoke to my husband they were looking for the man that used to live in the other apartment, told them this is not his number and never has been, never identified themselves.  I got home at 5:30, checked my messages it identified a call from (905) 710-1200 but they hung up and never left a message, this call was after they were told the first time that this was never his place of residence.  If they call and I answer the phone they will get an earfull for sure.

A man called and said his name was Taylor. My boyfriend answered the phone and they said that they wanted to talk to me. He said I was busy and asked what the call was about. He said "tell her its Taylor and she will know who it is". I have never known anyone by that name and told my boyfriend that. When my boyfriend told the guy that I didn't know him he got rude. Refused to say why he was calling or give a last name. A collections agency is possible since I do owe money but there is no reason to harrass my family. When my boyfriend hung up the first time they called back two more times.
