Someone called from this number that i am from Lahore and i will come to your home. They are making fake calls and bothering.  This number will should be reported to police, as it is simply harassment.

I am in area code 613(Ottawa) and experienced same thing.

I am tired of these callers and do not answer the call, they leave no message so I do not know who they are

They keep calling!  Air duct cleaning...I am doing 2 things now, I am either just hanging up or talking to them without letting them get a word in about a walk I am doing and where the money is going and could they sponsor our team, until they hang up!  Idiots!  Why do we have a do not call list and does anyone actually hire one of these guys who can barely speak English and are usually rude!?!

These idiots keep calling about duct cleaning - have told then at least 20 times that we are on the do not call list - and we live in a CONDO - no ducts - so [***].

They talk about duct cleaning, but it is probably another ruse just to get your personal info - just hang up.   Better still I use my little phone blocker box to block this, it's called a DasTalk box, blocks about 200 numbers including whole area codes.   A friend of mine uses a Panasonic wireless phone to do the same thing, not sure how many numbers it blocks.  The only problem with my DasTalk box is that it still rings once before blocking the call.   It cost me about $99 a few years ago, and to use it, I just push KEY and then push in the 10 digit number and then push + to store it.   To unblock a number you push -.  To block whole area codes like 800, 877, 855, 866 etc, I type in the area code  and seven asterisks, like this 800-***-**** and then all calls that start with 800 are blocked.  You can block private, no-name, no-number calls too.  Phone companies have a call blocking service, but it is pretty useless as they will NOT block telemarketers, which means calls from area codes starting with 800, 855, 866, 877, 888 etc.  When a call is blocked, you have about 10 to 20 seconds to still pick up the call if you want, I guess that is maybe the reason why my phone still rings once even tho the call is being "blocked".     But I wish the DasTalk company would have an option whereby the phone doesn't ring at all, as I work nights and sleep days, so those darn telemarketing and other nuisance calls like collection agencies calling about people I don't even know, don't bother me.   I don't remember being plagued by calls like this back in the 60s or 70s - seemsl ike just in the last ten years or so this has become a real pain and the government really isn't helping us, the Do NOt Call list is a joke.
