I received the same call today early in the morning, they have been calling me for the past 4 days around the exact time but didn't leave a message. I answered there call today, the female from Florida seemed polite and congratulated me on that I had WON a vacation to the Bahamas including a cruise line and told me I had entered through the internet. She asked if I was a 21 year old student which I am not and whether I was single or married as I would be able to take another person then went on to ask if I had a credit card either Mastercard or Visa for the purposes of the Hotel accommodation. She asked if I was familiar with Radisson Hotels and to check their website www.astarfun.com. After letting her know that I had cut my credit card sometime ago meaning I don't have one, she shortly hung up. It felt as though they were recording my voice for some reason I don't know. Luckily I googled them and came across this site, it sparked my curiousity of all the trappings of a scam. I knew the red flags of not letting anyone know your credit card details over the phone and who wins a prize in this kind of nature. This is nothing but a marketing gimmick if it's legit and or a scam to steal people's hard earned cash. No way I'm not paying a cent if I had won a prize, so much for winning a holiday to the Bahamas, almost had me - LMAO

I'm a winner, too. Just have to pay all the fee's. Nothing is free. I'm walking away from this one.

I live on the Gold Coast in Australia and we got a call like that yesterday from some bloke in Florida, or so he claimed, telling us we'd won a $6000US vacation. They kept passing us around from one person to another and then just slipped in the fact we had to pay $998 for some tax on the spot to secure the prize by giving them our credit card details. When we faltered on that, they threw in a bonus trip to Las Vegas just to sweeten the pot. We said no and I advise all of you out there contemplating taking this prize to do the same. Do not give anyone your credit card details or you'll get your account cleaned out. This is a scam. My bank said that a good policy to follow is If it sounds too good to be true, it is and that a good way to protect your credit card is to open a separate account with a visa card attached to it and only add the required amount of money to the account when you want to buy something.

just got the call my self stupid as i was i gave them my phone number since its normal too do when reservating a hotell. but when theu told me it was too be withdrawn from my account at the same time I said no but then it was too late. theu told me that its already been approved. but its been reservated at my account since its farely late here in norway. so called direktly too the bank and cancelled the whole f...ing card. but no mather how stuppid one could get there are always ways too get your money back. international laws are a nice thing. they didn't get my ccv number or any other form of verification so i can cancel it in my bank. seems to be legit but its a timeshare company. just gotta sit trough couple of hours of excrutiating presentation.

I was kind a like it but luckily I found this site of the website about this but I was nearly deposit the money in them. but they already have my credit card information but too bad I still dont have any money right now until two days from today I was thinking of putting in the money. and I already ring up the bank to cancel my card. haha. I nearly regret for not finding this site of the website. He said his name is Bedro Reyes. He gives me the number to call back and I call back and ask for him and hes there.
