This number calls me 2-3 times a day. I give them a new threat everyday too. I grilled him into tell me how he got my number and he claims he got it from the phone book. Which means they may just go down the whole book and go number by number. It's highly annoying to hear my phone ring this much daily.

People - call CRTc DO NOT CALL Toll free number - google Do Not Call Canada list. Note date and time you got call and the number that shows up on call display. They are fining companies heavily for calling ppl on do not call list 'finally'. Stop these guys by contacting CRTc with details.

Google  NATIONAL DO NOT CALL LIST CANADA, then you  will find a toll free number to complain.  I have already reported this company last week

Just got a call from Air Duct Cleaning Services - which I have been receiving for the last 2 weeks and at least every other day.  I have done as most of the other posters - hung up, threatened with calling police or CRTC, take me off your call list -- nothing works.  This is the same guy - every staticy line and not very good English -- he wont take no for an answer and calls a day or two later.
I just called the CRTC - and they acknowledge the Air Duct companies are on their radar but it will take some time.  Our complaints got a good fine for Bell Canada and year or so ago -- keep calling the CRTC and lets get this company stopped.

I kept "John" from Air Duct Cleaning Services on the line for 10 minutes and was able to learn some useful and not to useful. Not So Useful- Service across Ontario, special promotionSomewhat Useful- 22 years in business, bonded, 50 customers per day.Very Interesting...Me - "I want to know who'll be coming into my home. Calls around 5-6 pm every few days. I am also on the NCL and in the phone book. Feel like just cancel with bell (home line) and stick with my cell phone. Can people confirm they have home lines... i think a cell phone is the only answer to get this kind of calls stop.

The reason why most of us have call display is to allow us to determine who's calling us, and then, pick up the phone if we recognize the number.  You simply just don't pick up the phone if you don't recognize the number.  If it's urgent, family, or something important, the caller WILL leave a message, OR call you via another method, i.e., your cell phone.  Simple as that.  There's no need to fret and get flustered over picking up the phone and hearing foreign accents or automated messages.  USE THE SAME WEAPON against these people who have nothing better to do.  SIMPLE!   We NEVER pick up the phone.  And that DO NOT LIST the government implemented?  I NEVER signed up for it and never fell for it.  Anything from the government is too suspicious.  STOP BEING A SUCKER AND DON'T PICK UP YOUR PHONE.
